Vacation’s End

At the end of the visit,
There are packed suitcases
Waiting hours
Hugs
"Love you"s 
and goodbyes.

Maybe some tears.
Lots of airport waving,
bittersweet sadness,
and an empty
lonesome feeling.

Calm
Basking in the quiet.

No demands.
No balancing acts.
No entertaining.
